LESSON 1
PRONOUN, AUXILIARY, VERB (PAV)
You have to
consider the grammar rules in order that you can speak fluent English. Here we
talk about the Parts of speech
whereby you will not be able to speak without them(Parts of speech). And not to speak for the sake of speaking but the
proper arrangements and grammar rules consideration. Here we consider three
basic parts of speech which are Pronoun,
Auxiliary, Verb(PAV) as explained below;-
I. PRONOUN
In grammar, a pronoun is defined as a word or
phrase that may be substituted for a noun or noun phrase
Pronouns are words
used to represent people, person, or thing(s) .Basically there are seven pronouns
which are
- I
- We
- They
- You
- She
- He
- It
But also we can use names of a person directly
like John, Irene instead of she and He. According
to our lesson pronoun will be represented by the letter P
Consider the
following sentence to see how pronoun(s) can be used
II.
AUXILIARY
(OR HELPING) VERBS
Auxiliary
(or Helping) verbs are used together with a main verb to show action in a sentence or to form
a negative or question. The most common auxiliary verbs are have, be, and do whereby
they have their present, continuous, past participle and past form as shown
below

May
be you can ask a question, why are the auxiliary verb important?, The answer is
that it becomes somehow difficult to recognize what tense a sentence is. For
example consider the sentence
I have eaten, you can recognize the tense of the sentence by the help
of helping verb.
Generally auxiliary verbs are used to identify
a tense in a sentence, for example consider the following sentences
1. I will go (simple future tense)
2. I have gone (Present Perfect Tense)
3. I am going (Present Continuous Tense)
4. I went (Simple Past Tense)
III.VERBS
Verb is among of
important part of speech which is used to show an action(s) in a sentence. We
can use more than one verb in a sentence for example,
I like to read books (like and read)
In the context of verbs, we use the
term inflection to talk about the process of
changing a verb form to show tense, mood, number (i.e. singular or plural), and
person (i.e. first person, second person,
or third person) which will start to
be discussed from the lesson 2 onwards. This section deals with inflecting verbs to show tenses
and participles, and is divided into two main sections:
